A few months ago I thought it would be a good idea to split my blogs in two. I had the “Daddykirbs Thoughts” as my main blog and “Daddykirbs Garden” as my garden blog.

This was fine for a short time. But now there is some confusion about the two blogs… all my own I assure you.

Now I have renamed the main blog to “Daddykirbs Farm” and imported all Garden blog posts over. Now all Garden posts will simply be labeled with “garden”. The top navigation will point to those labeled posts.

The “Daddykirbs Garden” blog will remain live but I will no longer post to it.

This new blog is an extension of my “main blog” daddykirbs.blogspot.com

I felt like it would be better to group all my garden posts in it’s own blog. My orchard will be included because it’s like gardening trees 🙂

All the tabs at the top of this Garden Blog point back to the main Daddykirbs Blog. Once you find your way back to the main Daddykirbs Blog, the Garden tab will bring you back to this Garden Blog.

Ok, I don’t mean to confuse you… you shouldn’t notice any difference really. The only real difference is that the Garden Blog has it’s own Web URL.

Why am I explaining all of this…. I’m such a Nerd.

I have so many times when I wish I would have taken the time to blog something when it was fresh on my mine. My grandfather kept a journal pretty much his whole life. I think that is pretty cool. It’s not always for others to love and appreciate your wit and intelligence, but sometimes just a nice way to reflect on your own life. It also gives the kids a way to see into the mind and life of a parent or grandparent.

…maybe I’ll do better.
