Beekeeping: First Year Frustrations

This year is my first year to be a beekeeper. I took that class and got all geared up. Feeling unbeatable I
pushed through the Summer doing my little inspections. My thoughts mostly was that I just need to leave the bees alone. I didn’t want to disturb them too much. They have been doing this for a very long time, I don’t need to get in there and mess it up for them.

Beekeeping: Stacking Up The Hive

Well, I thought it was about time to post up about my beekeeping adventures. Actually it hasn’t been especially adventurous. I have mostly left the bees alone. I have peeked in there a few times to see the progress of the colony. Along with that I walk up there about every evening to watch them flying in and out.
