My Homesteading Journey Success is nothing without you!
This year in 2015 my blog was visited over 75,000 times from 177 different countries. My YouTube channel has almost reached 11,000 subscribers and has been viewed over 2,000,000 times! My Facebook page has over 2300 Likes, Instagram has over 700 followers, Pinterest, Google+ and Twitter have all seen an increase in traffic and followers. YOU are to credit!

Many of you have sent me words of encouragement throughout this year. That has meant so much to me. Several of you have been very kind and donated seeds, books and even money for some of my efforts in my family and on the farm. I can never repay you for that. Your engagement in all of this has given me so much energy to continue offering up this content!

Hi, I just found you on YouTube and subscribed. We plan on doing a back to Eden method garden this year as we start our off grid homestead. We are moving into a log cabin and I see here you live in one too. Do you have any log cabin tips and or ideas as far as maintenance and such?

We have lived in this log cabin for 5 years now. So far there has been little to worry about. I have filled some cracks with caulking, but that’s it. Take a look at some sites that sell the caulking specific to log cabins. I guess there are good ones and not so good ones. In which climate are you going to live off-grid? I’m sure that makes a difference to the type of maintenance your home will need. Thank you for joining me on my journey! I look forward to hearing more as you take your journey as well!
