These winged critters have been out in MASS! We have a decorative pond made from a galvanized stock tank. This pond has a bug light over it to attract “fish food”. Well for the last few nights it has been huge numbers of June Bugs! We collected these for two days to take to the chickens and ducks. They LOVED them!
Thrifty Farmer’s Wife Blog
My beautiful bride is starting a blog! I’m encouraging her to do so because I feel that she has a lot to offer. Her blog will feature posts about the kids (of course), photography and projects that she takes on. The projects are normally very “thrifty” in nature. She loves to turn something found for free into something cute.
She would love for you to follow along at:
Rainbow Over Wyoming
I had the most enjoyable relaxing time in Wyoming. It was wonderful to catch up with family that I have not seen in a long while. Standing on the front porch at this moment after a gentle rain was breath taking. I know the video doesn’t really convey that feeling, but I’ll never forget seeing this Rainbow Over Wyoming!
Wow! Riding a Bike for the First Time!
Our son is autistic and AWESOME! He can now ride a bike without training wheels. This video is fantastic to us, but even more cool is that after a couple of days of riding he looks like he’s been riding for years. He’s 15 now and has his sights set on DRIVING!
Bunnies and Stewardship
The more I hang out on my “farm” (yes, I’ll continue putting it in quotes until I actually feel like I’m farming on my “farm”), I feel a strong desire to be a good steward of what God has given me. I look around and see all the nature that exists on my property and thank God for the opportunity to be here… to take care of this little piece of His creation. It was easy for me to be caught up in a more selfish view while living in the suburbs/city. There was some disconnect from it all. Out here I feel more connected to nature. This short video of the baby bunnies is just a little peep through a small window of the nature that I am blessed to be a steward of.
No matter where you are, I pray that you take a moment to look around and be blessed by what God has done for us in His creation.
