  1. Sounds like a great year for you Blake! Just found your blog through HBN 🙂 Hope you have a happy new year and that there is lots in store for you for 2016!

  2. Hi, I just found you on YouTube and subscribed. We plan on doing a back to Eden method garden this year as we start our off grid homestead. We are moving into a log cabin and I see here you live in one too. Do you have any log cabin tips and or ideas as far as maintenance and such?
    Thanks Sohiamia

    1. We have lived in this log cabin for 5 years now. So far there has been little to worry about. I have filled some cracks with caulking, but that’s it. Take a look at some sites that sell the caulking specific to log cabins. I guess there are good ones and not so good ones. In which climate are you going to live off-grid? I’m sure that makes a difference to the type of maintenance your home will need. Thank you for joining me on my journey! I look forward to hearing more as you take your journey as well!
